I’m thrilled to announce that I have been chosen as one of the artists to participate in the Nickelodeon Artist Program! The program is so exciting - such an immense learning opportunity - and after having spent the last week at Nickelodeon’s Burbank studios, I can think of no better place to be as an artist. I can’t wait for my first day on Monday!Fellow Art Center grad Keiko Murayama was also chosen for the program with me! I’m very happy to be going through the program with her; ever since school, I’ve always admired her fabulous work.I would also like to take this moment to mention the two other finalists for this program, Erin Kavanagh and William Niu - please check out their blogs, they are as talented as they come and just about the nicest people ever - it could easily have been either of them instead of me.
