A lady illustrator and visual development artist living and working in Los Angeles.

The days go by so fast here at Nickelodeon, it feels like I blink and a week goes by. Part of the reason for this is, there are so many new and exciting activities to take part in! For example, last Friday my boyfriend and I went to go see a screening of “Snow White and the Huntsman” on the Paramount lot! I felt incredibly important driving on to the Paramount lot and getting to sit in their extremely comfortable theater (the seats are so plush!) with all the other Viacom employees. As for the movie, well, visually it was gorgeous… and of course, Charlize Theron was amazing, but other than that… ehhhh. Anyway! Of course, I had to draw the evil queen for my work-break doodle - such beautiful costumes!
Right now I’m working on character design for SpongeBob - for the last month I have been painting backgrounds (which they paint with actual acrylic paint!), but now they are letting me try my hand at characters (which is back to all-digital). From the rough designs to clean-ups to turn-arounds to mouth charts… I’m learning so many new skills everyday, my head is spinning! I’m just trying to soak up all the information… like… well… a sponge! Heh.
